NatWest’s director of payments leaves to join Bibby Financial Services

NatWest Group’s director of payments, Marion King, has left the banking firm to join Bibby Financial Services as a non-executive director.

King spent over seven years in her role at NatWest where she led the development of the bank’s payments strategy, overseeing the building of new payments infrastructure and delivering operational services while ensuring safety, security and compliance.

Prior to NatWest, she also served as president UK and Ireland for Mastercard, CEO of VocaLink and MD global transactions at Reuters, in a career spanning more than 25 years.

Speaking on her appointment, King says Bibby is a “highly values-driven organisation” and she aims to contribute to the firm’s “ambitious growth strategy”.

Founded in 1982 and based in Oxfordshire, UK, Bibby Financial Services provides funding to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to help them grow, take on new orders and expand into new markets.
